Dogs For Adoption
Each dog taken in by FURS is checked by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, updated on all vaccines, tested for heartworms, and put on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative. (Please note that while every attempt is made to meet the medical needs of FURS dogs prior to adoption, FURS can make no guarantee as to the health of any dog.)
A home visit by a FURS volunteer is required for every adoption. As FURS is an all-volunteer group, we do have to limit our adoptions to Richmond and its immediate surrounding counties.
